19-21 November 2014 in Kazan will be held XII International Scientific and Technical Conference "Optical technologies in telecommunications - 2014" (OTT-2014). The event is organized by Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N. Tupolev (KNRTU-KAI), Ufa State Aviation Technical University, Volga State University of Telecommunications and Informatics, with the support of the Optical Society «SPIE».

The conference will be focus on the following themes:

1. Technologies of optical systems of telecommunications;
2. Passive and active optical components of fiber-optic communications and information
measuring systems;
3. Processing univariate and multivariate optical signals;
4. Maintenance, inspection and restoration of optical communication networks;
5. Quantum Optics and Communications ^NEW
6. Supply problems in information communications^NEW
7. Training and education in the field of optical telecommunications technology
8. SPIE Student Chapter section^NEW

The conference will be attended by leading specialists and experts from relevant agencies and research institutions in Russia and foreign countries, as well as undergraduate and graduate students and young scientists.

Additional activities:

1. Visiting centers of optical, optoelectronic and fiber optic competencies KNRTU-KAI
2. According to the results of the 2014 OTT planned to publish the Proceedings of SPIE. Rules for writing materials for publication SPIE presented on the site http://spie.org/x14101.xml

To participate in the conference, you should send following documents up to September 15, 2014 to the e-mail address of the organizing committee ott-2014@kai.ru (RAR or ZIP):

1. Application for participation in the conference;
2. Text of report up to 2 pages for regular session or text of report up to 5 pages for plenary session;
3. Documents confirming payment of the registration fee;

Until November 10, 2014 approved by the organizing committee and designed in accordance with the requirements of SPIE (http://spie.org/x14101.xml) articles completed SPIE copyright form must be uploaded to http://spie.org/x108696.xml and send an electronic copy of the Organizing Committee to e-mail: ott-2014@kai.ru

Until November 10, 2014 send by e-mail to the organizing committee an expert opinion on the possibility of publication and;
Until December 20, 2014 please correct the article based on the comments.
